Jack Ngoma is CEO for MicroLoan Foundation Zambia (MicroLoan Zambia). He has vast experience in the Microfinance sector having worked for a leading microfinance institution before moving to join MicroLoan Zambia in 2009. He joined the institution as Head of Finance before taking up his current role as CEO in 2018.
Under Jack's leadership, MicroLoan Zambia has witnessed remarkable growth, evolving from a medium sized microfinance provider into one of the largest social impact microfinance institutions in the country. The growth is a result of instilling a culture of innovation and leveraging digital platforms to expand outreach and increase client impact.
Jack has guided MicroLoan Zambia to move to 100% digital loan disbursements. This has streamlined operations and enhanced accessibility and convenience for clients. The institution is currently spearheading efforts to digitalize savings for rural households. This strategic move is poised to have a profound social impact, as it will improve client credit scoring and grant clients greater access to secure digital savings. By encouraging digital savings, clients will improve their financial resilience to manage external and domestic challenges.
Today, MicroLoan Zambia serves over 50,000 active clients across thirteen branches and eleven satellites, in the southern, eastern, and northern regions of the country. MicroLoan Zambia stands as the largest microfinance institution in the country focusing on women only. Digitalization is extending MicroLoan Zambia outreach and positively transforming lives of thousands of clients.
