Micol has been working in the inclusive finance sector for over 20 years. Her experience in financial inclusion spans across various markets and financial service providers. She is currently advising Financial Service Providers (FSPs) on client-centric design, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, GPES (Gestion Prudentielle et de l'Ethique dans la Satisfaction des Clients), and Client Protection. She has been involved in several technical assistance programs aimed at supporting FSPs in implementing a sustainable, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible strategy. Micol is a qualified social auditor certified by Cerise+SPTF and has extensive experience as a trainer and facilitator, providing training services to various investors (Blue Orchard, Triple Jump, ICCO, Oikocredit, DFC, etc.) and financial service providers in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Central Europe, and Asia. Recently, she supported Cerise+SPTF in developing their interactive e-learning modules.

For over 11 years, she worked with MFR, where she was responsible for the development of methodology and tools for social rating assessment and client protection evaluation (CP). As the chairperson of MFR's social rating committee, she directly conducted or supervised hundreds of assessments, social ratings, and SPI (Social Performance Indicators) evaluations worldwide. She participated in sector-wide efforts (SPTF) for standardizing social indicators and USSPM (Universal Standards for Social Performance Management), and she was a member of the Technical Committee of the SMART Campaign Certification Program on Client Protection, contributing to the development of client protection standards and certification methodology.
