The session will look at ADA’s green inclusive finance journey and bring the example of the 3- year project named “Integrating Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Finance in MFIs in the Philippines”(GIF). GIF is implemented with the support of ADA and the Luxembourgish Ministry of Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development (MECDD) and it aims at having a higher impact on energy access and environmental sustainability by increasing the capacity of the partner MFIs to improve their green finance strategy. The panelists will share preliminary results, challenges and lessons learnt from the past 2 years of project activities, providing an extensive overview on how different stakeholders can create synergies to achieve the same common goal.
