Scott Graham leads the global research and impact monitoring practice for FINCA International, an organization that supports the livelihoods and financial health of economically marginalized people through financial services and investments in innovative social enterprises. His team uses cloud-based technology to collect and analyze data on the living and working conditions of unbanked individuals, micro-entrepreneurs and small-scale farmers, in order to improve the impact of FINCA’s services. His recent projects include an experimental study on the impact of remote coaching on savings behavior, a follow-on study focusing on women’s economic empowerment (WEE), a study on the impact of land ownership by cocoa farmers, and an SDG Impact Tracker. He also oversees FINCA’s Mission Monitor, an annual survey that portrays poverty, financial health and the needs and aspirations of FINCA’s microfinance clients around the world.
