Leading by Example: Women's Leadership in Inclusive Finance - Celebrating Corinne Molitor's Life
4:45 PM - 6:00 PM
Financial Inclusion for Women
Room Edmond Dune - second floor

In this day and age, financial inclusion is crucial to reach more equitable prosperity and social progress. At this round table event, we're not only bringing together experts and thought leaders who will share their perspectives on strategies to positively reshape the landscape of finance and foster diversity, but we'll be celebrating the life of the late Corinne Molitor, who was a partner at Innpact and Chair of the Board of Directors of ADA.

This session is part of the launch of Sunflower Seeds asbl, an initiative founded by Innpact S.A. and ADA – Appui au développement autonome to celebrate the life of Corinne Molitor. The launch is sponsored by its founding members, with the support of WIL Europe. Following the session, we invite all conference participants to join us for the evening cocktail that will serve as the official launch of Sunflower Seeds.

Sunflower Seeds asbl (the ASBL or Sunflower Seeds) aims at supporting women who have the will and ability, as well as the entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, to become the leaders of tomorrow's change for an inclusive and sustainable world. The Association will pursue this objective by offering scholarships, mentoring and other types of support to women, as well as by organising networking events and training workshops. Inspired by the vast network developed by Corinne Molitor during her life, the organisation aims at empowering women to overcome internal or external barriers to reach a new level in their professional development as well as to create a more sustainable world, respectful of human beings and the environment. Sunflower Seeds founding members are ADA – Appui au développement autonome and Innpact S.A.

Born and raised in Luxembourg, Corinne Molitor worked for many years for Banque de Luxembourg where she was part of the executive management team. She later became a partner of Innpact SA and chaired the board of ADA (Appui au Développement Autonome). Corinne was an advocate for inclusive finance and believed in its power to defeat poverty and empower people. With her passion and engagement, she contributed to the creation of numerous financial initiatives aiming to have a sustainable impact on current and future generations. Corinne was a role model and inspiration to many. Her enthusiasm and drive have inspired those who had the chance to meet her. Sunflower Seeds asbl’s mission is to allow Corinne’s legacy to live on, by inspiring women and empowering them to be agents of change.
